When the world’s leading music streaming platform needed to enhance how fans connect and support each other, they turned to Ingelby.
Spotify wanted more than just a help forum—they needed a vibrant digital space where music enthusiasts could share knowledge, discuss ideas, and help fellow listeners get the most from their Spotify experience.
Our partnership with Spotify centred on creating a community experience as innovative as their music platform. Through custom Khoros implementation and tailored functionality, we developed an award-winning space that seamlessly extends their customer experience strategy.
The results are impressive: in a typical week, community members engage in 334 conversations, answer 117 questions, and generate 146 new ideas—creating a constantly evolving resource as dynamic as Spotify itself.
A cornerstone of our approach was “The Spotify Stars Program,” recognizing community users who’ve proven themselves platform experts. Our advanced customisations enabled Spotify to identify, reward, and showcase these dedicated members who help countless users, post valuable ideas, and share music recommendations.
Behind the scenes, we implemented AI-powered features and productivity solutions for community moderators, allowing them to manage the growing community more efficiently while maintaining their reputation for responsive, knowledgeable support.
This collaborative effort earned Spotify global recognition for “Community Best in Class”—proof that when technical expertise meets creative community design, the outcome hits all the right notes.
